Weaving Social-Emotional Learning into the curriculum
The whole May-23 issue of ScooNews – one of India's top education publications – was dedicated to the why and how of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL).
It includes an article (p32/33) by Manjeet Kaur at Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools about how they are using the Persona Life Skills online personal development platform to help their many secondary and higher secondary cohorts improve wellbeing, academic success and employability.
"Our collaboration with Persona Education, to help us integrate SEL across our 49 schools, has been a game changer."
As SEL is now mandatory for Indian schools, under the 2020 National Education Policy, this type of thought leadership and guidance is invaluable for thousands of school leaders and teachers.
