Secondary students benefit from a structured thinking framework to help them navigate their life journey.
At Persona Education we have identified and defined 22 important social and emotional Life Skills across six Skillsets, to help pupils manage the challenges they face as teenagers, and learn how to achieve positive outcomes in different situations.
Our scaffolded, age appropriate curriculum helps students build the 22 life skills from age 13 to 19, boosting wellbeing and employability. These tie in with RSE, PSHE Association, Ofsted, Independent Schools Inspectorate, IB Learner Profile, Skills Builder, VIA Character, AS Tracking and Gatsby benchmarks.
Six skillsets for wellbeing and employability:
Skillset 1 – Being realistic

Skillset 2 – Communication

Skillset 3 – Open-mindedness

Skillset 4 – Problem solving

Skillset 5 – Resilience
